Are you looking for an unusual name for a character in one of your stories? Check out some of these real life examples in this article I read today. YIKES!
It is so sad that parents would be willing to call their child "Number 16 Bus Shelter" (One of the names that WERE ALLOWED by the New Zealand officials!)
I heard about twins named Lemonjello and Orangejello (pronounced LimONjello and OrONjello). Also, shithead (sha-theed), though I don't know if that one is actually true. It's tragic; a person's name is at the center of their identity. How could parents be so cruel?
I am a children's writer living in Washington State. I enjoy reading and writing picture books, spending time with my family, and walking my adorable dogs in the park. Thanks for stopping by.

That is terrible! What were these people thinking? What a horrible thing to do to a child.

Unbelievable.
That's terrible, Sex fruit? Violence?
The sad thing is, I recall a study done a long time ago on kids and their names. The outcome was that people did live up to their names.
Think about that. Violence.
I hope some of those kids sue the pants of their parents when they grow up, to pay for the therapy.
